Miniature - Alchemist
Figure: Alchemist
Commission: $20
Owner: Mr.E. Iacono
Aprox. Time to Paint: 11-13 Hours
Sale Status: SOLD
I had a blast painting this model, I do not know why. I just knew what I was going to do which made the painting way more fun, rather than a chore (as sometimes it can be when I get discouraged or isn’t/doesn’t turn out the way I pictured).

Miniature - Elemental(Part 4) - Earth
Figure: Earth Elemental
Commission: $12
Owner: Mr.V Mercurio
Aprox. Time to Paint: 10-12 Hours
Sale Status: SOLD
This is Final part of the 4 part Elemental series I did for a friend. I was by far the most excited to finish this one as I knew exactly what I wanted to do and did it very well in my opinion (and I think in my friends as well ;P). There were 3 things I wanted to achieve; make him appear earthy (obviously), make him seem like he just came out of the ground and make him covered in moss.

Miniature - Elemental(Part 3) - Fire
Figure: Fire Elemental
Commission: $12
Owner: Mr.V Mercurio
Aprox. Time to Paint: 5-6 Hours
Sale Status: SOLD
This is part 3 of 4 in the Elemental series I did for a friend. I’ve never painted fire before so I knew this was going to be a learning experience and turned out to be the easiest of the 4 elements. I started by painting the whole model Gore Red,then did a heavy dry brush of Blood Red over top.

Miniature - Elemental(Part 2) - Water
Figure: Water Elemental
Commission: $12
Owner: Mr.V Mercurio
Aprox. Time to Paint: 7-8 Hours
Sale Status: SOLD
This is part 2 of 4 in the Elemental series I did for a friend. This Elemental, despite being the simplist, gave me that hardest time. I could not figure out how to give water details. I mean its water and something I’ve never painted before even on a canvas. My goal was to make her seem like shes rising out of the ground from a small water deposit, like a puddle or pool of water.

Miniature - Elemental(Part 1) - Wind
Figure: Wind Elemental
Commission: $12
Owner: Mr.V Mercurio
Aprox. Time to Paint: 5-6 Hours
Sale Status: SOLD
This is part 1 of 4 in the Elemental series I did for a friend. These were a bit easier to paint so I gave him a discount as he has gave me a lot of business not only from himself but also people he knows.
I started with the Wind Elemental because I knew what I wanted to do, a living lightning storm. I painted the model entirely white first and slowly went over the model with Fortress gray around the mid section gradually mixing in Chaos Black to the top of the model.

Miniature - Female Ranger
Figure: Female Ranger
Commission: $20
Owner: Mr.A Rush
Aprox. Time to Paint: 10-12 Hours
Sale Status: SOLD
This model gave me a lot of issues. When I bought it I assumed it came with a base which I was wrong. It took me a while to find a square base to keep it consistent with the group of mini’s I did before (since they were all for the same group of people who play together). The model was an elf I made more into a human. The back story from the commissioner called for a red head ranger from the past who hunts mischievous Faeries who put her in the situation shes in.
Miniature - Forest Witch
Tuesday October 26th 2010; Its dark already this sucks…
Figure: Forest Witch
Commission: $20
Owner: Mr.E. Iacono
Aprox. Time to Paint: 9-12 Hours
Sale Status: SOLD
Below is a Witch Dungeons & Dragons Miniature I painted for a local Roleplayer. I was commissioned to paint this figure for twenty Dollars which is my basic standard single figure character price which includes basing. The figure stands about an Inch or more tall. I used Citadel miniature paint typically used for Warhammer models.
Sorry for the blurry face in the pics, the eyes I did really well this time and I wish you could see it better. I used goblin green for the background, added a single dab of white, let it dry for about 12 seconds and quickly added a drop of water to it which made the eyes almost apear to glow as it spread the white out to a fade on the edges near the green. This was more apparent when the final ink wash went over the model as it really stood out.

Miniature - Gnome Summoner (SOLD)
Tuesday September 28th 2010; A Sunny Wet Fall Day
Figure: Gnome Summoner
Commission: $15 in New Paint
Owner: Mr.V Mercurio
Aprox. Time to Paint: 8-10 Hours
Sale Status: SOLD
Below is a Gnome Summoner Dungeons and Dragons Miniature I painted for a friend. I was commissioned in $15 worth of paint I needed. The figure stands about an Inch tall. I Painted it using Citadel Paint typically used for Warhammer models (which I also paint and will post when finished).

I painted the Gnomes robe using Beaten Purple with hightlights in a 10% mix of purple with 90% bleached bone. Later after it was dryed I used a light black scarab ink wash and an even lighter red ink in some of the deeper creases.
The details were done in shining gold after all the dry brushing and ink was complete.

The swirling snow base was done using a hobby snow typically used for snowmen crafts at christmas. The stones I glued at the Gnome feet were inked with devlan mudd and black scarab ink.

I had a real problem with the skin as I didnt have the exact colours I needed so I used a mix of 10% blood red, 60% bleached bone and 40% a light brown I cant remember the name of. Later once it was dry I inked it using Devlan Mudd and dry brushed a light layed of bleached bone over it.
I think this figure turned out really well as I rarely have done single figures and could take my time with details and basing. I typically have been focusing on large number of troops for Warhammer so It was nice to have a change of pace.
